GAINESVILLE - It was bound to happen and it did Wednesday: the string of below-normal daytime temperatures in Gaineville ended.
The high Wednesday was 69 - which was actually two degrees above normal.
The streak of colder-than-usual temperatures had extended back ten days to March 19. During that time, daytime highs ranged from 48 on three days to 59 on one day. And, it looks like the warm weather will continue at least through the weekend, though some rain is expected.
