Lula railroad crossings to undergo work

LULA - State D.O.T. officials said Tuesday that Norfolk Southern will be reworking two railroad crossings in Lula over the next couple of weeks.

The first project will involve the State Highway 52 cross and will result in the crossing being closed for two days starting next Tuesday.

D.O.T. spokesperson Teri Pope says the crossing will be resurfaced, "Their maintenance work will make the crossing smoother for vehicles as you cross."

The other Lula crossing, the one for State Route 51, will be closed for two days starting May 2nd.
