GAINESVILLE - A warrant has been issued for a man arrested in Toccoa over the weekend, formally charging him with robbing a Gainesville bank last week.
Police Captain Jane Nichols said shortly after the robbery Thursday that the bandit had calmly walked into the bank and handed a teller a note before calmly walking outside, "No weapon was shown, no threat of force was made."
Police said Monday 44-year-old Michael Collier is in jail in Macon where he is also wanted on bank robbery charges.
