GAINESVILLE - Building activity in Hall County is on the upswing again after a decline in June.
In the category we track most closely every month - new, single-family homes, the number of permits okayed in unincorporated parts of the county was up by 46 over June.
Officials with the county's building inspection services said 136 such permits were approved in July.
The decline in June was attributed at the time to seasonal factors.
