Mary Perdue visits Cumming today

CUMMING - The emphasis is on children as Georgia First Lady Mary Perdue visits Cumming today.

She'll mark Champion Our Children Month with a daylong visit that includes three planned stops.

Perdue will take part in a CASA Volunteer Exhibition, tour the Cumming Child Advocacy Center and participate in the Child Welfare Expo to help educate citizens and community leaders about how to become involved with child welfare organizations.
