GAINESVILLE - A veteran of nearly 20 years in the Hall County Registrar's Office has been named by Superior Court Judge C. Andrew Fuller as interim Chief Registrar.
Charlotte Renee Sosebee-Hunter fills the vacancy left by the retiring Anne Phillips Lea.
Judge Fuller expects a permanent successor to Lea to be named during the first quarter of the new year.
Sosebee-Hunter currently serves as Clerk of Elections in the Voter
Registrar's Office, where she has been employed since 1989.
