The level of Lake Lanier still dropping

BUFORD - Lake Lanier was down another .13 of a foot at 4:00 this morning, compared to the same time yesterday. And, with each new reading, it's setting a new record for low levels

According to the U.S. Geological Survey Web site, the level of Lanier at 4:00 was 1052.46.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers says it will decide December 7 whether to cut releases from Lanier and other Georgia reservoirs by another five percent. (See separate story.)
