Reserve leads Savannah State to win over High Point

SAVANNAH - Curtis Brown had 12 points off the bench to help Savannah State beat High Point 62-59 on Saturday.

The Panthers (6-5) cut Savannah State's lead to 43-42 with about 10 minutes left in the second half. But High Point was unable to take hold of the lead during the contest.

Anthony Jones and Joel Davila had 11 points apiece for the Tigers (7-10), which lost to High Point on Tuesday night.

Arizona Reid and Mike Jefferson led the Panthers with 13 points each. Jefferson also had seven assists, while Reid grabbed 12 rebounds in the loss.
