NEW YORK - The case of the Buford dentist who confessed last fall to killing two women in his life is the subject of a new book by noted true crime writer Ann Rule.
The publisher says Rule interviewed virtually everyone in any way connected to the story in researching the book.
The list includes the victims' families, police investigators, prosecutors, and sources from Georgia to Australia. But, not the killer, Barton Corbin.
Corbin is serving life sentences after pleading guilty to killing his wife, Jennifer, in 2004 in their Buford home and a then-girlfriend, Dorothy Hearn, in August 14 years earlier.
Rule was to have been in Georgia this week for book signings in Lawrenceville, Buford and Washington, but had to cancel the trip because she has pneumonia.
