Kapordelis sentencing is Monday

GAINESVILLE - A Gainesville doctor faces a possible 95-year prison sentence Monday after his conviction earlier this year on child porn charges.

Gregory Kapordelis, who is now 46, was convicted of six of seven charges facing him for acts that occurred between 2001 and 2004.

He was arrested in April 2004 in New York getting off a plane from Russia where the government said he had flown in order to have sex with young boys.

His three week trial took place last May.

Just last week Kapordelis' attorneys filed a motion for a new trial.
