MARIETTA - A man remained in the Cobb County Jail Tuesday charged with killing a northeast Georgia man with a hammer.
Authorities say 36-year-old Dennis Freeman, who lived in Pickens County, was killed at a firewood lot where he was working. Freeman's brother - Michael Freeman - said the suspect, Roger Brown, was urinating near a dumpster near the lot Friday night.

He said Brown became enraged when the lot's owner asked him to stop.

Witnesses told police Brown walked away and came back a few minutes later with a hammer. Authorities said Brown hit Freeman over the head and killed him.
Brown is charged with murder in the death.
