CHARLESTON, S.C. - K.C. Rivers scored 18 points to help Clemson beat TCU 70-58 win on Saturday night in the semifinals of the Charleston Classic.
The Tigers (2-0) will face Temple for the championship on Sunday. TCU (1-1) will play the College of Charleston during the evening.
The Tigers maintained a 10-point lead on several occasions in the second half against the Horned Frogs, but never could pull away until late in the game.
Clemson held TCU to two points over a stretch of 6:32 late in the half to secure the victory.
Edvinas Ruzgas led TCU with 15 points.
David Potter made a 3-pointer with a 1 second left in the first half to give Clemson a 29-27 halftime lead.
