DAWSONVILLE -- Dawson County held Rabun County to no points in the second quarter en route to taking a 45-22 win in Region 8-AA action Tuesday night.<br />

It's the lowest offensive output for Rabun County since scoring 31 points against both East Hall and Dawson County back in the 2004-05 season.<br />

Lee Little led Dawson with 12 points as eight different players scored.<br />
<br />
Jim Bob Carver led Rabun with seven points.<br />
<br />
Dawson led 17-6 after the first quarter but outscored the Wildcats 6-0 in the second quarter to take a 23-6 halftime lead.<br />

Rabun got back in the game with a 13-8 third quarter to trail just 31-19 but Dawson outscored the Wildcats 14-3 in the fourth quarter to put the game away.<br />
<br />
The win was the fourth straight for Dawson (17-7, 7-2 in subregion) which closes out the regular season Friday on the road against Banks County.
