STATESBORO - Louis Graham scored 17 points and reserve Anthony Marshall added 16 to help Georgia Southern beat Chattanooga 81-61 on Saturday night.
The Eagles (17-8, 10-5 Southern Conference) went on a 17-5 run, capped by a Dwayne Foreman free throw to claim a 30-17 lead with 6:30 left in the first half.
Georgia Southern opened the second half by outscoring the Mocs 26-4, taking a 62-36 lead. The Eagles also held Chattanooga (15-10, 10-5) without a field goal until 10:18 was left in the half.
A Zach Ferrell 3-pointer cut the deficit to 70-52 for Chattanooga, but didn't trim the lead anymore.
Willie Powers scored 15 points for Georgia Southern, while Matthew Fields added 10.
Nicchaeus Doaks led the Mocs with 17 points, and Stephen McDowell added 15.
