BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA - Gainesvill's Tasha Humphrey and the Georgia Lady Bulldogs travel to face No. 8 LSU in an ESPN2 nationally televised "Think Pink" matinee at the Maravich Assembly Center Sunday afternoon.
Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. and can be heard on WGGA 1240 The Ticket beginning with the Pre-game show at 1:30 p.m.
The Lady Bulldogs wrap up a two-game road swing which began with a 72-58 victory over Arkansas on Thursday night. Humphrey scored 23 points as all five Georgia starters notched double-digit scoring tallies in the win.
The Lady Bulldogs, who are ranked No. 24 and No. 21 in the Associated Press and ESPN/USA Today polls this week, respectively, are now 17-6 overall and 4-4 in SEC action on the year.
Humphrey continues to lead the Lady Bulldogs in scoring and rebounding for the fourth consecutive year. She currently sports averages of 17.1 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. Sophomore Ashley Houts also is averaging double digits for Georgia at 12.7 points per game and leads the Lady Bulldogs in both assists (4.6 apg) and steals (3.0 spg).
LSU is 19-3 overall and a perfect 8-0 in league action to date and currently ranked No. 8 in both polls.
Sylvia Fowles paces the Lady Tigers with averages of 16.9 points and 9.1 rebounds per game, while Quianna Chaney is chipping in 14.8 points per game.
