The Johnson boys tennis team remained perfect on the season after taking a 5-0 win over Pickens Tuesday in their Region 7B-AAA opener.<br />

The Knights (3-0, 1-0) got strong doubles play in the match dropping just one game in the two matches. The No. 1 team of Billy Hulsey and T.J. Williams won 6-1, 6-0 win and the No. 2 team of William Anthony and Scott Allan took a 6-0, 6-0 win.<br />

Seth Hester won a thrilling match at No. 1 singles 5-7,6-0,6-4 while Brandon Sloan got a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles. Stephen Hester won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.<br />

Johnson plays host to West Forsyth Thursday.
