CUMMING -- Michael Tamburo threw two touchdown passes and ran for another to lead Class AAAAA sixth-ranked North Gwinnett to a 35-0 win over South Forsyth Friday night.
Tamburo had a modest 163 yards on 11-of-20 passing for the Bulldogs (2-1, 1-0 in Region 7-AAAAA) who got a solid game on the ground from Tyler Jarry with 112 yards on 10 carries.
Tamburo hit Kenny Barnes on a 25-yard TD strike in the first quarter for a 7-0 lead. In the second quarter Tamburo scored on a 1-yard run and then connected with Cordero Dixon on a 38-yard TD pass to give the BUlldogs a 21-0 halftime lead.
In the second half Zach Humphrey returned an interception 35 yards for a score and Rhaamil Brantley capped the scoring with a 7-yard run in the fourth quarter.
