Armed robbery on Athens Highway

GAINESVILLE - Two armed robbers are at large after a hold-up at an Athens Highway business Friday night.

Sgt. Kevin Gaddis with the Gainesville Police Department said that two men entered Supermercado Los 3 Hermonos, brandished a handgun and stole an undetermined amount of money from the cash register.

Gaddis said the two men then fled on foot. No one was hurt in the robbery, which was reported at 8:35 p.m. Friday.
