Rains force closure of tag office

CLERMONT - A plumbing problem caused by Tuesday's torrential rains has prompted the Hall County tax commissioner to close the North Hall Tag Office in Clermont.

The North Hall Tag Office is located at 5226 Dahlonega Highway in Clermont. The rains forced the closure of the office the afternoon of January 6; the office is expected to reopen at 8 a.m. January 8.

The other tag offices are open as scheduled: Downtown Tag Office, Joint Administration Building, 300 Henry Ward Way, Room 204, Gainesville, and the South Hall Tag Office, 3640 Mundy Mill Road, Suite 140, Oakwood. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
