Chamber report: Weak dollar helping Gainesville

CHESTNUT MOUNTAIN - America's weak dollar is helping Gainesville economy; not the news you would expect to hear, but it came Thursday during the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors meeting held at Eagle Ranch.

The Chamber's Economic Development Council Chairman Russell Vandiver said European investment in Gainesville is paying off. Vandiver predicted growth in Gainesville, bringing in production where in the past products were made overseas.
