Habersham man killed in traffic accident

DEMOREST- A Clarkesville man was killed Wednesday morning in a single-car accident near Habersham County Medical Center.

Troopers with the Toccoa post of the Georgia State Patrol say 69-year-old Roger Delano Cannon of Clarkesville lost control of his vehicle in a curve in front of Habersham County Medical Center.

Troopers say the car ran up an embankment and into a tree. Cannon's car was the only one involved. The wreck happened about 6:15 a.m.
