Basketball: RMA stays perfect in 8A-AA

BLUE RIDGE - Riverside Military Academy remained perrfect in Region 8A-AA after taking a 56-47 road win over Fannin County Friday night.

The Eagles (9-6, 7-0 in subregion) opened the game with a 14-5 first quarter and then held off the Rebels the rest of the way. Riverside led 25-14 at halftime and never let Fannin County mount any significant runs.

Richard Tribble led the Eagles with 14 points and Brandon McKinney had 12. Steven Frady added nine points and Josh Davis eight for RMA.

Jordan Farmer had 14 points and Garrison Sisson had 11 points to lead Fannin County.
