DAWSONVILLE - Dawson County held Union County to single-digit scoring in each of the first three quarters en route to a 46-32 Region 8-AA win Friday night.
The Tigers (12-10) actually trailed 6-5 after the first quarter but outscored the Panthers 23-9 in the second and third quarters to take control of the game.
Seth Stowers led Dawson County with 15 points, Stephen Scaife added 12 points, all in the fourthquarter, for the Tigers.
Seth Merrit led Union County with 11 points.
