Planning board wants advice on 'final say'

GAINESVILLE - Gainesville's Planning and Appeals Board voted to change procedure Tuesday night. The board agreed to accept staff recommendations on variances.

Commissioner Joe Diaz said Planning and Appeals has the last word on granting land use variances, a good reason for getting advice from staff.
