By B.J. Williams
GAINESVILLE - Two Hispanic males are on the run after a late night armed robbery Monday.

Hall County authorities said the robbery happened just before midnight in the 2000 block of Marlette Road. According to the driver for the Fiesta Taxi Service, he picked up the two suspects at the Kangaroo Gas Station at the corner of Calvary Church Road and Candler Highway. The two then had the driver taken them to Marlette Road, where the robbery took place.

The driver told authorities the pair took money and his car keys before they tied his hands to the steering wheel of the cab with a zip tie. The suspects then fled to a waiting vehicle and left the scene.

Both suspects are believed to be Hispanic males, both of medium build and approximiately 5'3" in height. One suspect was wearing a white t-shirt with a white do-rag on his head, and the other suspect wore a black shirt.

Sheriff's investigators are still working on the case.
