Softball: Lady Falcons get 7-AAA road win over Pickens

JASPER - Flowery Branch improved to 2-1 in Region 7-AAA after taking a 5-2 win over Pickens Tuesday in softball action.

Roxie Dalton went the distance to earn the win allowing just runs while striking out three.

Rachel Duden went 3 for 4 with two to lead the Lady Falcons (3-5, 2-1 in region). Allison Thornton had two hits, Meagan Albini had a solid game, and Cally Orr, Caitlin Fowler, Chandler Duckworth, and Kendall Fowler each had one RBI for Flowery Branch.

The Lady Falcons will open the Buford Tournament Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Hog Mountain Sports Complex.
