Volleyball: Lakeview splits with Jefferson, Jackson County

GAINESVILLE - The Lakeview Academy volleyball team split a pair of matches against Jefferson and Jackson County Tuesday at the Lakeview gym.

In the first match, Jefferson rallied from one game down to knock off the Lady Lions 19-25, 25-23, 25-11. in the second game, Lakeview rebounded with a 24-14, 25-21 win over Jackson County.

For Lakeview, Louisa Jacobs finished with 12 kills and six digs. Megan Rochester had six kills and five digs. Jackie Burleson added six assists for the Lady Lions (10-9, 1-1 in Area 7A/AA).

Lakeview next will play host to Athens Christian and Rabun County on Tuesday.
