GAINESVILLE - The road that leads to Lake Lanier Islands no longer has three names; Hall County Commissioners voted Thursday night to give it one name.
That name is now officially Lanier Islands Parkway, all the way from I-985 to the Islands. Lake Lanier Islands Chief Operating Officer Grier Todd said one name would end a lot of confusion.
