Couple found dead in Lawrenceville home

LAWRENCEVILLE - Gwinnett County police say a man and a woman were found dead in a Lawrenceville-area house.

County police spokesman Edwin Ritter said the couple's 12-year-old son went to a neighbor's house around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday and said his parents were having problems.

Ritter said the neighbor phoned police, who responded and found the couple dead inside the home.

Ritter said there were obvious signs of trauma but investigators have not determined how the man and woman died.

The home is on Carriage Way in a middle income neighborhood off Old Peachtree Road.
