Pickens County woman found safe

JASPER - The elderly Pickens County woman who had been missing since Wednesday afternoon has been found safe.

Fox 5 News reports Marilyn Gossenbacker, 89, was finally found Thursday at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta, and was slightly disoriented, but otherwise in good health.

Pickens County sheriff's deputies said Gossenbacker was last seen buying gas in the Decatur area around 3:45am Thursday before being found much later in the day.
