(Cleveland)- The cities of Cleveland and Helen are working with White County in a Christmas Tree recycling campaign this year. The "Bring one for the chipper" program will collect the natural Christmas trees and mulch them to be used for animal habitat.
Trees are being accepted during normal business hours between now and March first at one of three locations. The sites include the lot at the rear of the Courthouse off Brook Street, Chattahoochee Street and Edelweiss Street in Helen and White County Transfer Station at 670 Industrial Blvd.
