Kids learn about burn prevention

GAINESVILLE - Parents and kids Sunday learned about preventing burns at home from Safe-Kids of Gainesville/Hall County while they dropped in for lunch at Firehouse Subs.

Safe-Kids coordinator Kim Martin said Fire House Subs on Shallowford Road hosted the Burn Awareness Week event, held by Safe Kids and the Gainesville and Hall County Fire Departments to create awareness about in home burn hazards from cooking and heating.
