GAINESVILLE - One person was killed in a two vehicle accident on Browns Bridge Road Sunday afternoon.
Police Sergeant Jay Parrish said the fatal accident happened around 3:40 p.m. Sunday.
The wreck occurred when Jose Pacheco, 70, attempted to make a left turn from Spring Road onto Browns Bridge Road. He pulled his 1993 Chevrolet S10 into the path of a 1986 S10 Blazer driven by Pedrick Barrett, 27.
A passenger in Pacheco's vehicle, Magdalena Zamarippa, 65, was killed in the accident. Pacheco, Barrett and a passenger in Barrett's vehicle were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for evaluation.
Charges are possible against Pacheco.
