HOSCHTON - North Hall, Lled by Ty McCormack, finished eighth in the Georgia Challenge at Mill Creek High School Saturday.
The event featured a field of 40 teams from across Georgia.
McCormack finished second in both the 1600- and 3200-meter runs, breaking the school record in the 1600 with a time of 4:23, and improving his 3200 record set last week running a 9:08.38.
Jordan Chaffin also improved his school record in the 200 set last year by running a 22.94. Peyton Wilhoite finished second in the discus with a throw of 158'11". Ben Booth placed fourth in the pole vault clearing 12-feet and Randy Olson had a strong showing in the 100 and finished in a tie for seventh in the high jump.
Luis Gonzalez finished seventh in the 800-meter.
