RABBITTOWN - East Hall's Drew Adams smacked a first inning, two-run home run and then the Vikings held on for the next six innings in taking a 2-1 win over Flowery Branch Tuesday in Region 7B-AAA baseball action.
After the blast from Adams, who had two hits on the night, Flowery Branch answered with a run in the second inning but Adams made the score stand up on the mound as well tossing a complete-game to earn the win
Adams allowed just one hit andfanned eight. Flowery Branch got a superb effort from sophomore Andrew Laur, who allowed just four hits and stranded seven East Hall runners.
Hunter Poole and Desmond Gardner also collected hits for the Vikings.
