(Cleveland)- The White County Community Thrift Store in Cleveland has reached an exciting milestone in their operation. Thursday  the Thrift Store awarded funding to four different agencies that service White County and in doing so surpassed the half million dollar mark in grants.Â
Mike Gravu, Vice President of White County Community Resource Association the governing agency for the thrift store said since the store open in 2004 they have helped 28 different agencies. Thursday  $15,000 dollars was awarded to four different agencies. Â
Gravu said it takes the entire community to make this program a success, the people who donate the merchandise, the volunteers and the shoppers who purchase items in the store.   According to Gravu  in
addition to the agency support they have assisted 732 families, 946 adults and 1,539 children.Â
