Accused Forsyth Co. child molester runs

By Staff
CUMMING - A man indicted in Forsyth County on a number of child molestation charges has slipped his ankle monitor and apparently is on the run.

Authorities said Kenneth Grant, 42, was indicted in 2009 and had been under house arrest since posting bond. He was to have made a court appearance last week, September 20, to face charges, but he failed to appear, according to Channel 2 News.

Electronic coordinates show the ankle monitor Grant was wearing is on the bottom of Lake Lanier. Grant's attorney says he has had no contact with his client.

Grant has been charged with aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery, child molestation and sexual exploitation of children.
