Dahlonega man killed in White Co. motorcycle crash

CLEVELAND - A motorcyclist, who was seriously injured in a crash in White County Thursday afternoon, has died.

White County Coroner Ricky Barrett identifies him as 60-year-old James Harry Taylor of Dahlonega.

State trooper Scott Atwood says the accident happened about 3:00 on U.S. 129 south of Cleveland near Totherow Road. Taylor's motorcycle left the road and overturned down an embankment.

Taylor was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center but later died of his injuries.
