Gainesville police identify Kangaroo burglars

GAINESVILLE - City police responded to a burglary at a convenience store in Gainesville early Monday morning.

Authorities said two suspects were arrested in connection with the break-in at the Kangaroo Convenience Store on E.E. Butler Parkway across from Atlanta Street Apartments.

Gainesville Police Spokesman Joe Britt identified those arrested as Devon Appleby, 17, and Quinn Milsap, 18.

Britt said the suspects broke through the glass front door of the store just before 4:30 this morning and stole miscellaneous candy.

The suspects were apprehended shortly after the break-in and have been turned over to the custody of the Hall County jail.
