COMMERCE - Charges are pending in an accident that killed a Maysville man Tuesday morning.
State Trooper C.E. Parker with the Georgia State Patrol said 69-year-old James Scroggs was traveling northbound on S. Elm Street in Commerce when his motorcycle was hit by an SUV that was turning into a Dairy Queen restaurant.
Parker said Scroggs was taken to Northridge Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
The accident happened at 9:08 a.m., according to Parker.
An investigation into the accident continues.
