Cesar Solis was sentenced Monday in Cobb County Superior Court. District Attorney's spokeswoman Kim Isaza says 43-year-old Solis was living with the victim's family in 2012 when the two had sex before she went to school.
During the trial, Solis' attorney said the two were having a relationship, and he didn't force the teen to have sex with him.
Officials say Solis was charged with statutory rape and has been held without bond since Dec. 25, 2012.
