GAINESVILLE - Jury selection began Monday morning in the trial of the Forsyth County man accused in a deadly boat crash on Lake Lanier in June 2012.
Paul J. Bennett, 44, of Cumming faces charges of homicide by vessel and boating under the influence in the crash that killed brothers Jake and Griffin Prince of Buford. The boys were riding in a pontoon boat with their parents and another sibling the night the accident occurred. Jake Prince was 9-years-old and his brother Griffin was 13 at the time.
The incident occurred the night of June 18 in the Shoal Creek area of Lanier.
Trial is taking place in Hall County Superior Court in Judge Kathleen Gosselin's courtroom.
