UNDATED - Governor Nathan Deal has a full calendar this week, and his schedule has him in north Georgia for at least four events.
The governor a stop Tuesday afternoon at Holiday Marina on the shores of Lake Lanier, where he will sign into law new boating legislation for the state. Those new laws were prompted by deadly accidents on Lanier last summer.
The governor and first lady will be at a dinner in Gainesville Thursday night for My Sister's Place.
Then on Friday morning, Governor Deal takes part in a ribbon cutting for the city of Demorest's new streetscape project. He wraps up the day making comments at the inauguration of Dr. Bonita Jacobs, who becomes president at the newly consolidated University of North Georgia.
