Deadline today to respond to logo survey

GAINESVILLE - Friday, July 5 is the deadline for Hall County citizens to offer input as the county moves forward to create a new county logo.

Hall County Public Information Officer Katie Crumley said so far the county has received almost 60 online survey responses. Plus, several citizens have submitted their own logo designs for consideration.

Also included in the survey is an opportunity for citizens to sign up to participate in a focus group session to further develop a new logo design.

The county announced last month that it is developing a logo in order to give Hall County better brand recognition, which could be a positive factor in economic development, according to Crumley.

The Hall County seal, which has served as the County's logo in the past, will continue to serve as the County seal and will continue to be used in an official capacity, such as on legal documents.
