GBI searches for suspect in Arcade murder

By B.J. Williams
ATHENS - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is searching for a suspect in the murder of 66-year-old Larry Durham of Arcade.

Durham's body was found at his home on Azalea Drive in Arcade Monday night after Arcade police received a suspicious phone call and went to Durham's residence for a welfare check.

Arrest warrants have been issued for Mou Moua for murder, which is a state charge, and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution, a federal charge.

According to GBI spokeswoman Sherry Lang, agents in the Athens Field Office of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Arcade Police Department have been tracking several leads in a number of states as they search for Moua.

Lang would not say how Durham was killed or how Moua might have known Durham, citing the ongoing investigation.

Lang said Moua, an Asian male, is approximately 5'2" tall and weighs approximately 120 pounds.
