Sneiderman moves to Arrendale prison

By The Associated Press
ALTO - A suburban Atlanta woman convicted of lying under oath and lying to police investigating the killing of her husband is serving her sentence at a women's prison in northeast Georgia.

Attorney Brian Steel tells The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Andrea Sneiderman was moved to Arrendale State Prison near Alto hours after her sentencing Tuesday.

The 37-year-old mother of two was found guilty on 9 of 13 counts against her last week. A judge sentenced her to serve five years in jail with credit for about a year she'd already served under house arrest.

Sneiderman's husband, Rusty Sneiderman, was gunned down in November 2010. Andrea Sneiderman's boss, Hemy Neuman was convicted in the killing but found to be mentally ill.

Prosecutors said Andrea Sneiderman lied about an affair with Neuman.
