Child transported after UTV strikes tree

CLEVELAND - A child was taken by ambulance for treatment after a utility vehicle wreck in White County Wednesday afternoon.

"There was an 11-year-old child riding with his uncle on a gator and they were seatbelted in," said White County Sheriff's Capt. Tim Chapman. "They struck a tree and the child was having trouble breathing. The child was transported to the hospital via ambulance."
