ATLANTA (AP) Emory University officials say the FBI has joined an investigation into swastikas that were painted on the exterior of a historically Jewish fraternity house.
Authorities said Tuesday that Emory police contacted federal investigators about the graffiti painted on the Alpha Epsilon Pi house after it was reported over the weekend and the FBI has launched a federal civil rights investigation into it.

University officials have said the fraternity house was targeted early Sunday morning, shortly after the end of the observance of the Jewish holiday Yom Kippur. Alpha Epsilon Pi is a global Jewish fraternity with headquarters in Indianapolis, according to a description on its website.
Anyone with information on the graffiti is asked to call the FBI's Atlanta Division.
