Hall Co. agents charge two with selling alcohol to minors

GAINESVILLE - Hall County authorities arrested two suspects Wednesday night as part of an undercover investigation into underage alcohol sales.<br /> <br /> Nikhil Patel, 27, of Doraville was arrested at the Texaco convenience store at 3649 Mt. Vernon Road, while Ri Kai Zheng, 35, of Gainesville, was arrested at the G&P Package Store on Park Hill Drive.<br /> <br /> Lt. Scott Ware with the Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad (MANS) said both men were arrested without incident after undercover agents under the age of 21 were able to enter the stores and purchase alcohol.<br /> <br /> "We do this periodically," said Ware. "Usually, it's the result of complaints or information from the community, which is alleging violations by certain stores."<br /> <br /> Ware said both Patel and Zheng posted bond and were released from custody.<br /> <br /> Ware said two other stores visited by agents were in compliance with the law.<br />
