BUFORD -- Buford kept its unblemished record with relative ease on Friday, scoring 42 first half points en route to a 56-0 defeat of North Hall in Buford.<br />

The top-ranked Wolves (6-0, 3-0 Region 8-AAAA) rolled up 376 yards, including 284 yards on the ground, while holding the Trojans (0-6, 0-3) to 80 yards.<br />

Buford quarterback Luke Humphrey passed for two scores, a 10-yard strike to Isaac Nauta in the first quarter and a 35-yard hook-up with Brandon Mangram in the second quarter. Humphrey completed 5 of 8 attempts for 92 yards.<br />
<br />
No Buford ball carrier rushed more than four times, with Evyn Cooper's 74 yards leading the way. Cooper, Joshua Thomas, Mangram, Mic Roof and Christian Turner each scored rushing TDs, while Xavier Gantt also recovered a blocked punt in the end zone in the second half to help Buford to a sizable lead.<br />

The Wolves travel to face Monroe Area next week, while North Hall will play host to Madison County.
